So I just finished unpacking everything…boy is the fourth floor a ways up lol. But I want to thank my man Shane for helping me pack (he even fit my bike in his car!), driving me up here and helping to unpack. You sir are awesome and I am very grateful for all your help. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by all the guys Gadi, Mike and Mike. They are really chill and interesting, couldn’t have got luckier in the roommate department. All musicians with good sense of humor and very laid back. They gave me the tour, then I did laundry after which we shared a beer on the roof (there’s an amazing view of the city from there, pictures to come soon!), and then they took me to this amazing Mexican restaurant for dinner. I took a walk by myself somewhere in the middle there to check out the neighborhood. There is so much going on in such a small area. It’s really such a cool place to be and I know I’m gonna love every minute of it. Everything is unpacked for now. The room is a pretty good size with two windows and lots of light. But now that that’s all done I, I’m gonna go take a much needed shower and rest up because tomorrow I think I’m going to channel my inner Christopher Columbus…
